In 1994, upon our retirement from teaching, we began HunterHill Kennel.  Our location is central to the Golden Horseshoe area of Southern Ontario, being one hour from Kitchener and Guelph, one hour south of the Owen Sound/Meaford area, and two hours north and west of Toronto.   We have climate-controlled whelping facilities and thirteen large out-door runs for our wonderful pets. Our daily work with challenged adults includes involving them several mornings a week in intense dog grooming and loving.  Our Newfoundlands -- we breed black, Landseer, bronze, and gray -- are sold with a two-year written health guarantee and are vet checked and wormed twice.  We maintain a waiting list and ask for a $100 deposit to ensure that you have a place on that list.  Once a litter arrives and you are able to choose a puppy, we ask for a further deposit to make up 50% of the purchase price.  We encourage you to come and pick out your puppy as soon as possible, but we will not confirm your choice until our veterinarian has thoroughly checked the puppy.   We welcome questions, e-mails, pictures of your dog, and phone calls. 

We believe that Newfoundlands are truly the most lovable and devoted dogs, a wonderful addition to any family.  At HunterHill, we do our best to produce a good-looking, emotionally-healthy companion animal.
